The mapping data provided on this page are intended solely to assist
the user in displaying the flight track data. The coastline and
geopolitical boundary data were obtained from a trusted outside source,
the coastline extractor

maintained by NOAA, but you should read the disclaimers on that site.
Mapping Data
- ASCII
data showing a projection of the 4D analysis grid onto a 2D grid in latitude
and longitude. The data are formatted for use with TECPLOT. NOTE:
select "Value Blanking..." under the Style menu item in
TECPLOT, check "Include Value Blanking", activate a constraint, and set the
constraint to blank when the variable "V4:blank" is greater than or equal to
a constant value of 0.5.
- ASCII
data of coastlines falling within the latitude and longitude limits of
the flight track analysis.
- ASCII
data of political boundaries falling within the latitude and longitude limits of
the flight track analysis.
TECPLOT is a commercial
software product. The data described above are intended solely as useful
corollary information for displaying the geographical distribution of the
flight track data described on this site and are not intended as endorsements of any
commercial products.
